About the role:
As a Press Operator, you will be immersed in our state-of-the-art production process, utilising your mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. This hands-on, varied role ensures that no two days will be the same, allowing for both personal and professional growth. You will operate a large industrial iso-static press to produce high-quality ceramics, manage heavy tooling and equipment, and collaborate with our engineering team to enhance tooling and moulds.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate & maintain a large industrial iso-static press to produce high-quality ceramics.
- Accurately mix materials to ensure consistency and quality in production.
- Collaborate with our engineering team to enhance tooling and moulds.
- Manage heavy tooling and equipment, necessitating physical fitness and strength.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges proactively, applying practical problem-solving skills.
- Follow instructions accurately, and record data to support production trials for the growth of the business
About You:
The ideal candidate will be a motivated and independent individual who is detail-oriented, physically fit, and a strong team player. While experience in operating machinery or working in manufacturing is a bonus, we are willing to train the right candidate. A desire to meet production targets, an eagerness to learn and the ability to collaborate effectively are essential traits we value.
